it's hard to describe, but i will....imagine if you're standing around with a big group of friends, and some stranger just walks up to your group and starts talking like they own the group or have been a part of it for a very long time, instead of easing themselves into the group and gradually becoming apart of it, they start spouting out assinine comments and other random unwanted bits of information....when devin was a n00b, he said smart things, thus earning his coolness, when i was a n00b, i didn't post that much and gradually started increasing, you lost your n00b status in like 2 days, you then are annoying...so once again...from me and the rest of the board

my favorite lead singers:
Ken from TSL. (i like the small amount of raspiness)
Mike from MXpx has a classic voice. him and Tom singing together is good
claudio from co and ca has an incredible range
as does Reese from five iron frenzy. the song every new day is amazing

Bands who just have great singing in general:
Inspection 12 - amazing harmonies. sounds almost like a barbershop quartet at times. and i love that

i've fully enjoyed Skiba's voice progression, from 20 years old to 65 in 5 years, while disappointing, i like it, because its something i can mimick well.
