Cute is What We Aim For (http://www.absolutepunk.net/cuteiswhatweaimfor)'s bassist, Fred Cimato has left the band to pursue academic interests. Jack Marin (Ex-October Fall (http://www.absolutepunk.net/octoberfall)) will be filling in on bass duties for the band. You can read a statement from the band below about Fred's departure.
Dear you, We are writing to tell you all that our friend Fred has decided to leave the band to pursue school and work on other things. We all support his decision 100%. He is still our very close friend and we have no bad blood between us whatsoever. He is the funniest person any of us have ever met and we will miss him. We are certain that he will do amazing at whatever he decides to do. We will be the first ones to lend a hand. Jack Marin will be our new bass player. As we are sure you will all find out, he is an amazing person. We are very fortunate to have found someone that we all fit so well with. Be sure to come out and make him feel welcomed as a new part of our family. A message from Fred- "Thanks everybody so much for all of your support, and making this the best year of my life. I'm glad I got a chance to meet and talk to some really awesome people. I still love the guys in Cute, and will miss them. I wish them the best of luck in the future. If anybody wants to get a hold of me, feel free to send me a message on myspace and I'll answer any questions you might have. Can't stop, won't stop. Bitches. I go to college. I don't drink, I don't "party". There are other reasons to go to college, like learning and graduating so you have a degree to get a decent paying job.

I think the title's pretty witty.

When I saw them a few months back Fred didn't really seem too into the whole performance. During one of the songs that didn't have bass he just went and sat in a corner and when the rest of the band tried to sing to him he kinda gave them a bit of a death stare.

I just got back from seeing them with HGB and Ozma. The singer's voice was messed up and they only played like four songs. It was really weird. They looked like they'd been through the ringer.
