oh man...march? psh. I think that they keep getting better. Their first album wasnt that great, well not compared to the more recent ones, and then they got really good from there. MMHMM was more rock, but its still amazing, and the new songs on the ep are pretty good.

theyre smart to do that...it was slated for the same day as Brand New, and that would have hurt them big time

i have loved these guys ever since the begining, they have matured so much, theyve gone from writing funny songs to serious ones that mean something me and my friend tim from exit 71 both agree that relient k-MMHMM is one of the best pop-punk albums out there it has everything in it
just my opinion

and i thought it was march 21st?

this band will always have a special place in my heart because they redid the Fraggle Rock theme song. Gonna be a great album

I thought MMHMM was an excellent album, I wouldn't mind a good variety of serious and fun songs on their next album though...but I doubt it wil happen :-(

IIRC, that was mislabeled. It was really Allister.

However, I could be wrong.

I love Relient K, I really do, but I've heard their new stuff and.. frankly, it sounds a helluva lot like their old stuff. Sometimes I feel they need a bit of a change of sound.
-shrug-
I'll still throw a goddamn party when it comes out, but I'm interested to see if they ever really want to change their sound.

exactly. Old rK is no where near the new stuff.

Yeah, old rk was bunches of fun, but no real depth... Though their new single isn't really impressing me. In fact, the unreleased song that didn't make it onto the album, Fallen Man, is my favorite so far.
Is that a good thing?

I love the lyrics to the single. "Fallen Man" is a good song too.

I only just got really into rK, so I guess I am pretty much a n00b when it comes to this stuff.
My favorite song of theirs so far is "Which to Bury, Us Or The Hatchet?"
But anyway, they rock.
