Well it could be a real thing, think about it...

A woman is in bed and its dark, a man comes into the house (the window was unlocked) and walks into the room, he see's her, quietly gets undressed and gets into bed then has sex with her (him initiating and dominating the act)...the whole time, she's assuming its her husband.
