Just saw these guys with Strike Anywhere. Most of the punk kids that came to see A Global Threat had left (even for Strike Anywhere!) and at the end of the show, the crowd was pretty sparse. I'll still have to say that the heart that these dudes put in even with more than half of the crowd gone is just amazing. "Can We Start Again" was definitely the highlight. Great band.

I always try to catch these guys when they come to Indy. They're coming this Friday, and I'll be there. The best was a few years ago on the Equal Vision tour...it was Bane, Bear Vs. Shark, and some shitty other bands like Armor for Sleep and Alexisonfire if I remember right. I was worried that it would be a low-key show because there were at most 30 kids in the room when the other bands played until Bane, then suddenly everyone showed up and that place lit up. They opened with Can We Start Again and a fight broke out so they stopped the music and they lectured a little bit, then they finished the rest of the set with the lights on. It was amazing! All of the dogpiles under the bright lights made it so much better.

seeing these guys Thursday, and I can't wait. Bane puts on one of the best shows around. You can't question the commitment and heart that Bane put into every ounce of their music. I will always support them.
