According to the band's website (http://www.rancidrancid.com), Rancid (http://www.absolutepunk.net/rancid) will be releasing their seventh, currently untitled, studio album in the spring of 2007 via Hellcat Records (http://www.hell-cat.com).

Hellcat is a sub-label of Epitaph. I wonder if this is Hellcat/Warner without the Warner tag like last time. Those tricky major labels...

I thought Indestructible was pretty good. It was a good mix of sounds from Out Comes the Wolves, Life Won't Wait, and a little bit of 2000.

I like how after Indestructible, Tim said they were going to try not to take a long time between albums and to expect a new Rancid album in late 2004, early 2005.

Not so much.

Who knows if it will sound anything like their 90's stuff, but I'll be giving it a listen regardless.
