what bands/performers/artists did you guys listen to back in the day, back in high school, or back when you first started getting into music?

do you still like them?

if you dont....is there a reason why?

i used to listen to a lot of....

....Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Green River, Mudhoney, Metallica, Dead Kennedy's, Acid Bath, nofx, rancid, Slayer, Sepultura, Sex Pistols, the Offspring, Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westwards, Suicidal Tendencies, Pantera, Faith No More, etc....i could go on forever.

I was just going through a draw where I keep a lot of old junk and found 9 ticket stubs with Brand New on the bill. All from 01/02 I guess I liked Brand New a lot.

I used to listen to a whole bunch of blink 182, and Weezer but not as much. I still listen to them, (not as much as i used to) even there old stuff that i started out with. I think that at one point in time most "punk" bands were influnced in some way by either of these bands. Granted blink is "pop/punk" they still got that different sound out to the masses.

third eye blind was the band that I started listening to in 6th grade and I still listen to them all the time.

I listened to stuff like Korn, Manson, Slipknot, etc in HS. Now, I rarely listen to any of that stuff, because well, a lot of it was pretty bad.

I think I was in 7th grade when I baught my first cds. NOFX- so long and thanks for the shoes and Bad Religion- No Control. I am still in love with both of these bands as well.

i used to like Bad Religion but now i dont. but i still love NOFX.
