Looking for some good modern psych-pop bands.
I've always been a 60's freak, but I'm looking to find more of what the present has to offer.
Won't go through EVERY band I already know, but recently I've been digging Deerhunter and The Flaming Lips the most.
Anything that could be described as:
-psychedelic
-spacey
-jangly
-ethereal
-shoegaze
...is what I'm aiming for.
Not TOO interested in OVERLY electronic stuff, but I'm okay with Animal Collective, so any suggestions are welcome really.
All help is appreciated, thanks.

Yeah they're pretty good. I have Yellow House and Veckatimest. Both have some great songs and are strong albums overall. I wouldn't really call them psychedelic though, their sound is a tad too subdued for that. They are more along the lines of baroque/chamber-pop.

Woah I know some names there, but there's a good amount of unknown stuff to go through there. Thanks for taking the time to put that together.
