I love how awkward Max looks in the collage pic with all the potential artists you can see. Everyone else has a cocky look and his is like "wtf?!"

I've already met them (awesome guys) as I am sure a lot of people have, but I do like the free concert idea and all the other prizes.

I love how they're like "meet the band" as if they're some huge superstars or something. I've (like I'm sure most other people who've seen them) "met" them many, many times before and after shows. I don't know, not to knock the band, they're great people, but MTV giving you a "chance to meet Say Anything" is kind of like a grocery store giving a "chance" to eat a piece of Bologna.

maybe if i win this contest, ill bring up to max the fact that it's funny that mtv would give that away as a prize when theyre such accessable people to begin with. then ill watch the show and enjoy, thinking about how someone chose not to enter because they were caught up in the fact that they think it's odd to give away meeting someone who's already quite accessable as a prize.

eat a piece of bologna? tell that to the kids who dont live along the general touring route of the common indie-ish band, Montana or something, or a kid who doesnt really dig the scene you are all so used to, these people probably build intense emotions for these six dudes and they arent even into or aware of AP.net and the scene, so they really dont know that meeting them is pretty easy, the spread of the say anything now stretches far beyond the ap.net walls and the kids who are starting to get into them have nothing to do with the former traditions here, they are probably extremely down with getting flown somewhere strange to have a bizzare but probably awesome experience with their favorite band, who have probably had a pretty big impact on their thought processes and emotions
