Incubus - Warning 10:24

i know this is not punk.... but in incubus's warning video, what does 10:24 mean? its weird and i have no idea what it means. in the video when the girls watch gets to 10:24 she starts screaming and everything disappears, kinda messed up. freaky looking girl too.

at first I thought 10:24 was like a 9-11 thing. Like I thought maybe that was the time when one of the planes hit. But I doubt it.

it's pretty self-explanatory. 10:24 is basically the time at when the world is going to end (maybe if they chose a day instead of a time it would have been less confusing), and the girl is telling everyone that, but they don't listen to her. and then at the end of the video when it's 10:24 everyone disappears (i.e. the world ends, i would guess), including the band, and then it shows the girl's room and she has "10:24" written all over the walls.

and yeah, the girl's pretty freaky.

holy shit this was the very first thread i ever created on this site. this is fucking amazing. why would anyone ever go searching for this and then reply? but anyways, i never really did figure out the 10:24 thing, and her date/day theory is about the best i ever heard, so thank you mam.

but god, that doesnt even seem like me that created this thread. now that i reread it i can tell i was a total noob. this is kind of cool.

I used to be a huge Incubus fan back in the day. They make a couple references to the ancient Mayan doomsday predictions on 2012 A.D. (see "A Certain Shade of Green"), and this is one of them. Supposedly, the world is supposed to end at 10:24AM on December 21, 2012.

yeah ive acutally heard this before too. well i heard it had some kind of connection w/ december 21, 2012, the day the world will end. what i didnt hear was the time, ive never heard it was supposed to happen at 10:24am. but if you are right then yeah, that makes sense.
