Posted About a Site Relaunch and Got Deleted!

Hey there,
I posted a message about the BlankTV relaunch in the "Punk" forum and it got deleted. Just wondering if the posting violated some rule I didn't notice!

I guess I'm not getting it. How is it spam to tell people about a punk website in a punk forum?
When we get sent in a news item about a AbsolutePunk.net contest to post on our News page, is that spam?

maybe it was in the wrong forum.... maybe you could post it in Self Promotion (http://www.absolutepunk.net/forumdisplay.php?f=5)?

They seem to be picky about what goes in what forum? Maybe if something gets deleted the Mod could PM the person to tell them why so they know for the future?
