To be honest I'm thinking about it. It'll be the first time voting for anything for me. I really wouldn't normally even care about this sort of thing but I'm just so sadden and angry over how the Republicans and Bush have just destroyed and messed up things I love about this country. I feel as of right now it's the only solution for Bush.

I will be voting, but I will be voting Libertarian in Georgia. Liberal whining and Conservative spending is a little out of control.

I mailed in my Absentee Ballot last Friday. I've voted every year I have been eligible. My grandpa always used to say, "Don't complain about the government if you don't vote." I agree with that, I hate when my friends bitch about what is going on but they do nothing to change it.

A lot of young people don't vote either because they are in college and getting an absentee ballot can be a pain in the ass, or they are just not old enough. Of course, some would rather just listen to what the ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT minds in bands like Yellowcard and Anti Flag have to say about everything politics and think they are making a difference by going to the warped tour and donating 3 dollars to PETA.

Do you solely vote party lines or on the issues? Personally I think party voting is fucking dumb, but hey, that's just my take.

And yes, I will be voting, I did all my research this past week and I've got every candidate selected for every office.

A lot of young people don't vote because they feel that their votes are worthless anyway.

No, i dont vote on party lines. Having said that, I have never voted for a democrat either. I am voting libertarian because I believe that the government should be as small as possible and stay the hell out of peoples bedrooms, bodies, and lives. I would imagine most of you feel the same way I do, you just listen to too much punk rock to realize it.

I only plan on voting for one candidate and that is Howie Hawkins in the New York senatorial race.

Why? Voting for the lesser of two evils should not be the way politics works.

If you are a business owner, do you hire the lesser of two evils, or do you search elsewhere for qualified candidates?

No, but you dont exclude yourself from the voting process and then bitch for 2-8 years about how much the guy who won sucks.

you do realize punk is pretty libertarian right...?

to stay on topic, not voting. my vote doesn't count and they lost my registration anyway. I guess I could drive back to my parent's house and vote there, but they live in different districts than me, so I don't know anything about their candidates.

An individual that complains about a system that does not provide qualified candidates, and as such does not vote, has more validity in his claims, than a person that voted for a lesser evil and complains about them being terrible. They settled for less, so they have no right to complain about them.
