Sources have confirmed that trombonist Phillip Inzerillo has parted ways with the Suburban Legends (http://www.absolutepunk.net/suburbanlegends) in order to pursue a career in education. No official statement from the band has been released thus far.

The title scared me for a second before reading the post.
I hope the band can find a replacement quickly and keep going, they're an incredible group of musicians.

From what I've heard, they're on the hunt for a replacement.

oooh.....education.
you know what, good for him.
education needs a few (okay, a whole hell of a lot) more good men in the classroom.
i wish him the best.

yeah i don't think the title should be 'lose another trombone player' it makes it seem as though the new trombone player passed away as well... perhaps word it differently, please?

i hate to say it, but it may be for the best. phillip (and luis for that matter) both seem like really cool guys, but when compared to the people they're replacing they just look uninspired and lost on stage. the last time i saw SL it just seemed like they were trying to keep up with brian, when in the heyday, with aaron and dallas and vince on horns, it was like everyone that was dancing was perfect and holding their own. these guys just never seem to have the energy i expect from SL.
but best of luck to him with whatever new career he pursues, and best of luck to the band on finding a replacement.

The title was not intended to be funny in any way, shape, or form. I would never make any sort of "joke" regarding the loss of Dallas.
