Last night in Toronto, My Chemical Romance (http://www.absolutepunk.net/mychemicalromance) extended their autograph session at HMV to 1:30am. The line up took up 4 city blocks and they stayed until they got through everyone.

Thats awesome...maybe FFTL should learn that type of mindset if they plan on sticking around

I think that's every aspiring band's dream; to have to stay out way late just to sign all your fans autographs. Man what a rush that must be for everyone involved.

that's awesome...i have new respect for them.
Cool. That's incredible. I mean 130's not that late on a regular basis, but signing shit for that long and shaking hands and etc. I'm sure it had to wear on them quite a bit. Respect for that.
When I was walking to class at 11am there were already quite a bit of people waiting outside, it was pretty cold out yesterday too.

i dunno how FFTL treats their fans... but i was pointing out they should be more worried about things like this than money matters

heck yes, thank you My Chemical Romance, the exact reason you deserve every bit of attention you have received for the best record you have produced in The Black Parade. LONG LIVE My Chemical Romance!

I've grown tired of seeing their mugs plastered all over the place but I do respect them, and I think this is great and sets a good example for other bands whose heads grow to large and shows that you should never forget your fans because without the fans you'd be playing in your basement.

yeah im sick of their publicity, especially cause i don't like their music, but bands like that show that respect and devotion deserve attention and fame.

It was miserable there, too. Everyone has said it was freezing, even inside. Gerard and Mikey were sick, as well, and yet the band stuck it out with the fans. :D More bands should be this way even when they get huge.

Yet another reason on the list of many of why they are my favorite band. Hopefully if they continue to do that, I may get to meet them one day.
