ok, i know a lot of people who tell their gf's/bf's they love them. I dont think people actually know what it means. Think about it.... people who are married and mature love eachother, not your silly little high school crush. Maybe I'm wrong, but people over use that word much too much. Or I've just never experienced it. What do you think?

I think your right. I've never told some stupid high school boyfriend that I loved them. The first time some guy said that to me I freaked out, I thought he was crazy! I've never said it back, and this has happend more than once. I'm not into love right now, I'd rather be with more than one guy.

I think people use the word love way to loosely. Some people say it just so they can hear their bf/gf say it back, which is really stupid. I've never been in love..and I'll never say it until I know I truely am.

I think it's definitely used without caution or validity way too often. This is why I refuse to say it to someone until I actually mean it. Seeing as how I've never been in love, I've never said it to anyone other than my platonic soulmate.

your avatar is awesome! i saw that movie for the first time this weekend, it's great.

i do think that people use the word too loosely. sometimes people don't know exactly what they are feeling, so they just use "love" to make things easier. i've never told anyone i've loved them, and hopefully i'll be sure of it when i do.

....heh, now that i think about it, one of the last g/f's i had told me she loved me, and i didn't say anything back, and she just started staring at me, expecting me to say it back, so i obviously asked what she was looking at, and she wanted to know why i wouldnt say it back, and begged me to say it. so i told her. and then "her heart was broken" when i dumped her like a week later....stupid broad, shouldn't have forced me to say nothing i didn't want to.

love is bullshit until your older and can understand it more.. cuz most of the time you think your in love, and that the person loves you back . but all good things come to an end and then it just hurts so much more.

love... how can anyone be in love in high school? they havent had the experience or even been with enough people to know what love is! "I love you" is used soo often in relationships with people that dont mean it at all. The thought of even loving someone this age makes me laugh.

its funny, me and my g/f were talking about this a week ago. I told her that "love" is used too loosely and that i pretty much gave up on love ever existing and she gets all over dramatic and crap saying things like if never loved her why would i say it back to her. I may seem like a jerk, but I tell her its basically because she expects to hear it back. I have no clue what love is, and i dont know if its real.
