What are your feelings on the issue of rogue nations attempting to acquire weapons of mass destruction (more specifically, those of the nuclear sort)?
what do you think should be done to stop them?

Although it presents a threat to the rest of the world, I can understand why these nations would want a nuclear weapon. Iran and North Korea are both looking to earn respect from the world (specifically the US) and want to be recognized as important players. But more importantly by acquiring nuclear weapons they are ensuring that they will not be invaded by another country (specifically by the US).
North Korea is in shambles, and I think its the only country in the "axis of evil" that regime change may actually have worked in. North Koreans are starving and if Kim Jong Il cannot feed his people then his power is negated. As for stopping them, I think US involvement and pressure from China can work the issue out.
Iran is a more serious threat and I dont think you can stop them. You can simply postpone the inevitable.
