if they really wanted to make money they wouldn't of had their EP streaming on purevolume, and they wouldn't be giving away tons of free music on their website, it's only 4$ ?

another ep with more of the same?
uh, i will have to pass....
as much as i love hgb (and trust me, i do love them a whole hell of a lot), i just wish they would stop reworking the same old stuff and start working on something new and sweet for my ears. please.
i really believe that they can do better than a remix ep.
come on, hgb, don't let me down.

I don't see how people can hate on them for putting songs on their album that were never released. The fact that we all downloaded those songs is our own fault, not theirs. Also, if you think hellogoodbye are rich, I'm pretty sure you are mistaken.

who did these remixes?
Tommie Sunshine maybe? I'm not sure. I know he did 4 remixes for Here (In Your Arms) though.

Hellogoodbye just sent out a bulletin on myspace titled "if you remix a remix its back to normal". I wonder if they are reading this thread.

This was my first ever itunes purchase as I am a person who likes to hold the CD instead of just the digital. I have to say it wasnt even worth the 4 bucks and I really like this band.

i think of any of the bands mentioned on this website, i despise this band the most. i just feel like they are the least talented, most over hyped band that are successful and mentioned on this site. I admire how they have become successful because I myself am in a "fake" band that plays crappy music, but I haven't marketed my band as successfully as they have.
their new album is horrible, and I'm not picky when it comes to music.
to quote Dennis Green, "they were who we thought they were". shimmy shimmy quarter turn was meant to be their peak. i bet even they are surprised how big they've made it.
i'm passionate about how much i hate this band, because sometimes i feel like i am the only one that is not blind to their lack of talent. they had a DVD before they even came out with an album!

i do agree that hgb is overrated. however, it's not like they didnt earn some success. they are some extremely nice dudes, played my friends chanukah party a few years back and on their tour with The Academy Is... last spring jesse even said they'd play it again. and people need to keep in mind, other than ap.net readers and a few select others, im sure a lot of their fans aren't familiar with their "old" songs.

If they are overrated then why do so many people go their shows? That's like saying the patriots aren't good even though they have won 3 super bowls in 4 years. You don't have to like a band, but the least you could is respect them for working hard in the studio, touring their asses off, and building a big fan base.
