i think on some songs mark sounds monotone which hurts it but overall that is how mark has sang for years and if u didnt like the way he sang before u wont like this either.

first listen i give this a 7/10 but that will go up i know for sure

I don't think Mark's voice can carry a whole album on its on. I hate to say it but it got a little annoying after a while. There are 5 songs I think are really very good where as the others come off really bland. I'll admit I am a bit dissapointed with this :/

It just sounds that Mark, like Tom, tried too hard with this. Tom tried too hard to make a life changing album and Mark tried too hard to write a dark and/or emotional album. This further prooves that they need each other. Even though neither one of them will admit it right now. After AVA flopped I looked forward to this CD so much. It just disappointed me so much.

Angels and Airwaves did not flop, it just did not live up to the ridiculous expectations. I think that if tom took the same approach that mark and travis did (little to no press until release of the album), we dont need to whisper would have been better in peoples minds.
