This is another live/acoustic recording. It is pretty different from almost anything I have ever showed you guys, especially in regards to the vocal melody and the way I chose to sing it. There are mistakes and such but, its a live recording so what do you expect

I wrote this one hour ago and recorded it about 30 minutes ago.

Thankyou. I would record these things better to be honest I really cannot be bothered with it all, spending hours recording a song that would only sound a tiny bit better than the live recordings.

Also, I think it is a much more honest representation, one take, one track

Yeah, but they are the rythmn section and it would be hard for them to participate in a live acoustic recording.

We havent practiced in 3 weeks because my guitar is fucked up at the moment and my drummer went a bit gay for a while, but I have been writting roughly a song every two days for the best part of a month.

My voice is the one thing I'm not really comfortable with. I've been working really, really hard on the melodies to my ep so that I can sing them comfortably.

Hmm..I'm not sure. I've finished the lyrics to about 8 songs, which I think is a good number. So now it's just writing the music and getting it recorded. I've got to find a microphone, too. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish it before the year is done.

This is totally amazing! I've been trying to write my own guitar music. Are you following the thoery of 1, 3, 5. Such as, C E G chords in the C Major scale? You probably have no clue what I'm saying, because I'm a shit explaination person. If you do understand, let me know.

So, how do you go about the process of getting the chords to sound good together? This is my biggest problem, hence I'm taking forever to even get a melody written.

Just audacity, a digital microphone, a classical guitar and my voice. I just record it live in stereo format and then compress any peaks in the audio after
