wow dude this holocaust was old news. although i can agree about the comparison from my point of veiw i can understand why it would offend people. i think he protestors just wanted an excuse to eat meat though.

another bull shit advertisment that did this year was staing that jesus was a vegetarian( or atleast he wouldn't have condoned the meaningless slaughter of animals). that has got to be the biggest load of crap ever. i mean im sure every has atleast seen the movies where jesus catches all of those fish.

Chickens sole purpose on this planet is to be eaten, correct? Yes. They are born to be prey. So there is nothing wrong with eating them. Unborn children however are not meant to be killed, so there IS something wrong with killing them, see where I am going...

My view is that human are simply the dominant species when it comes to eating meat/chicken/what have you. I do not, however, condone senseless cruelty to animals.

not at all, because unlike the abortion sites (which i dont totally support), this sites tries to compare two things that dont share simalar value.............the life of animal has very little worth, when compared to that of a human, that is why this site is un justifiable..........

i dont think thats true. i wouldnt go as far as saying that an animal's life is on the same plain of a human's, but "very little value" isnt right either. i think taht any living thing deserves respect.

I know we're not really arguing about this, but I'll throw it out anyways.

Herbivores have developed a special coating for their teeth. You need this coating if you're going to be foraging for food amongst dirt and whatnot so that your teeth don't erode. Humans don't have that enamel on their teeth. In terms of evolution, we're not meant to be vegetarians.

But things change.

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (im pretty sure, correct me if im worng)
and to zach, i went vegan for about 3 years when i was younger, i became anemic, you have to make sure you are getting all the vitamins you need whether you are taking a supplement or whatever, and talk to your doctor ro get a checkup if you are feeling at all weak or sick, just to make sure youre getting all your vitamins and minerals....

I try. On a semi-related note, yester I went to the anti-flaf cincert and some vegans gave me flier. on the top there was a picture of bacon and eggs. in the middle it said something like "know where you're food comes from" and on the bottom there was picture of a sod looking pig. It wa supposed to make me not want to eat meet, but insted it backfired and made want bacon and eggs
