hot topic is really punk rock, its a sweet place to get band shirts, cause than everybody else around you gets the same shirt to try to be scene, and than its really great

i always thought scene kids were vehemently anti-hot topic.

pretty much everyone i know who shops there don't consider themselves punk/hardcore...they just like the clothes/some of the bands and aren't smart enough to know that buying shirts at shows is cheaper and supports the bands more.

i went in there the other day with my girlfriend because for some reason she wanted to look at the cds. and i almost started on fire, but i guess im not punx enough. but i did find her end of the year jesus celebration present there: nothing feels good by andy whatever his last name is.

thank god i have such an easy girl to shop for. anything sunny day real estate, and she creams her jeans. even though she can probably say the same thing for me except using the words "brendan kelly"
