The Skies We Built (http://www.myspace.com/theskieswebuilt) (ex-theAudition, ex-Ateriavia) have posted a new 4-song e.p. for streaming on their Myspace and Purevolume pages (http://www.purevolume.com/theskieswebuilt). It will be released with 4 diffrent kinds of limited edition artwork on November 19th. The band plans on following up the release with various dates around the midwest. Please check their myspace page for details.
Detroit rockers, Bedford Drive have posted the freshly mastered version of the song "Julianne" from the soon to be released EP in betweens on their MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/bedforddrive) which features piano accompaniment by Zac Clark (http://www.myspace.com/zacclark+). The EP was produced by Mike Poorman (ex-Hot Rod Circuit, currently of Strangeways Recording) and mastered by Mike Poorman and Alan Douches (West West Side Music).
Isadora (http://www.myspace.com/isadora) have a new song up on Myspace.
Welwyn (http://www.myspace.com/welwynrock) has now made their self-titled debut EP available to purchase through their new merch
store (http://welwyn.bigcartel.com).
Leaving the Scene (http://www.myspace.com/leavingthescene) have parted ways with thier bassist, Casey.
Materia Medica (http://www.myspace.com/materiamedica)'s farewell record "Dying is Strange and Hard" is now online for pre-order at the Uprise Magazine store for only $6.99. The cd contains 11 tracks, consisting of the bands two previous EP's (the first of which was produced by Chris Staples of Twothirtyeight and Discover America fame) as well as two newer unreleased tracks. It will be officially released on November 21st on Holdfast Records.
The GetAway Drive (http://www.myspace.com/thegetawaydrive) has announced their winter tour plans. Check their myspace for dates.
Take the World (http://myspace.com/taketheworldmusic) has entered their own studio to work on their debut EP. The album is nameless so far but updates will be made shortly.
Keep In Touch (http://www.purevolume.com/keepintouch) has posted the song Tan Line (feat. Will Thompson from Sounds Like Fun to Me)
on his Purvolume account. The new EP, Birdcalls was produced by Max Steger.
Is to Feel has posted a new song on their myspace page called "Hammers & How We Use Them" from their upcoming album Llorona due out Nov. 28th. You can check it out here (http://www.myspace.com/istofeel). Also the album has gone up for preorder through smartpunk now here.
