The Plain White T's (http://www.absolutepunk.net/theplainwhitets) have been added to Panic! At the Disco (http://www.absolutepunk.net/panicatthedisco)'s "Nothing Rhymes with Circus" tour from November 13th-November 27th. Cobra Starship (http://www.absolutepunk.net/cobrastarship) will be picking up where the T's left off on the tour from November 28th-December 9th.

I think I'm actually going to this show on Dec. 3 for JM.

id rather see cobra than PWT...
but oh well. im not TOO disappointed

now, see, if the PWTs new CD hadn't been the biggest letdown ever, this would have been news that was at least a little exciting. wish my show was on the Cobra Starship end.

i wish my friend didn't actually WANT to see Panic! (yea, i don't get it.) I'd totally bail after JM, otherwise.

Hmm...

I kinda wish I had pit tickets now for the MSG Theatre shows.. I imagine they're really expensive scalping now. I bet PWTs only play 1 or 2 non-new songs, though, which is bad.. but word is JM is doing 10 songs?

Fucking this could be good....

Are they replacing Bloc party or just getting added for the heck of it?

i just tried explain this all to the FOBR boardies, pretty much, what Melissa posted which was "...brought to you by the letter H and the number 9 1/2." via FOE (http://friendsorenemies.com/), the story behind this is,

for those who do not know Bloc Party was scheduled for the full tour but their drummers lung collasped and he is currently in the hospital, therefore they are not continuing on the tour.

ample linkage regarding this:

oh and one more thing Black Gold was/is opening up for them on the following dates:
Washington, DC November 11th
MSG Theater November 13th or 14th
Philly November 19th

i saw black gold last night, they weren't terrible.....but i am definitely happy that the t's are going to be on the other date i'm going to. although i hope the fact that black gold is playing on the 19th doesn't mean the t's aren't. does anyone know anything about that?

So the MSG shows are gonna have Black Gold AND Plain White T's?

What do you think the order is gonna be? I'm guessing it'll be Black Gold - Plain White T's - Jack's Mannequin - Panic!

I heard that Jack's played an extended set the other day. Hope they still do that...

I have no idea, I was wondering the same. As of now, I'm not going (if the members of P!ATD had an attitude that was similar to what it had been a year ago I would, but they don't), but it's a possibilty I am since friends have extra tickets and I'd really like to know that information to help make my decision.

So will Jack's get moved up or are they still the first opener?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
This is fantastic though. As much as I love Bloc Party, I'd loooove to finally get to see the T's...
Though I'd be much more interested in seeing Gabe Saporta and his gang live...

Matt played the whole Atlanta show in pain. It was hard to tell if he couldnt catch his breath or was about to throw up. But they were amazing, i'm said they had to stop. Matt was hospitalized in Atlanta after the show. I was to say they said on stage that he was kick in the chest while playing soccer (not sure it is was by the ball or not). I wish i was going to the vegas show... its a little far from ATL. But JM is awesome and i love Panic! (it was my first concert of their's) so enjoy

i thought bloc party was just taking a few days off? anyways, pwt will be okay...i liked that "hate" song, but after my friends mocked it i sort of began to see why they were mocking it and i cant listen to it anymore without just seeing it as a whiny little emo diddy

i'm glad pwt's are on this now....but i hope their the first opener and jack's gets a longer set... jack's mannequin is the only reason i'm going....although my friends want to see panic (don't really understand the draw but w/e)

Because of their addition to this tour, Cobra Starship will be tied with The Hush Sound and Gym Class for the bands I've seen the most this year.

I need to see some bands that aren't on Fueled By Ramen, for god's sake. :|

it'd be a better tour if Jack's was headlining.
they put on a much better show than panic! anyway.

maybe I'm in a little bit of a "p!atd are a bunch of douchebags" mood, but that's the truth.

i feel so horrible for bloc party and the guy with the collapsed lung...i can't even IMAGINE how terrible that is. my best goes out to him.

that being said, i'm going to the 12/9 show in san diego, and i'm psyched to see cobra starship, especially since i missed them at Bamboozle Left (too much pre-partying...oops) :beerbros:

Nothing rhymes with Circus, but plenty of things rhyme with sideshow. Like "You guys blow" for example.

This means that Cobra Starship will be playing in Portland twice in less than 2 weeks. I hope they are good live.
