Haha. Yeah. Highlights of that thread for me are when Sean bolded all the acronyms, when steiny said we can't fathom his intelligence and of course when he said you're iq is you're iq. All of GeeBee's responses are gold and the rest of us had some good ones as well.

Not that I really need the DN Daily Politics because Liz Benjamin does everything, Celeste Katz does better, but Katz tends to have some pretty nifty interviews. /rant

i've got friends of all colors and walks of life and the majority of them have said or done something racist in my presence.
schools that have a high percentage of minorities tend to get less funding then schools with a high percentage of white students.
police are more likely to stop and search a person of color, people of colortend to recieve harsher sentences then their white counterparts when sentenced for the same crimes, and people of color are incarcerated at much higher rates then whites despite being no less inclined to crime.....so yeah i see racism on a daily basis.

In its annual report, " (http://www.civilrights.org/archives/2009/11/hate-crime-data-2008.html)Hate Crime Statistics 2008 (http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/hc2008/index.html)", the FBI documented 7,783 hate crimes in 2008, up from the 7,624 reported in 2007. The 2008 report shows the highest number of crimes directed at Blacks, Jews, and gay men and lesbians since 2001.

Seriously .. Google it. This shit is ridiculous.
I know exactly where it came from dude, i'm fucking with you. It was taken from the american taxpayers, and just thrown into the system.
The government doesn't do anything efficiently. The U.S. postal service SOMEHOW manages to lose money every year...and they have no competitors. Sorry, if i don't believe that taking 800+ billion just to "Recover and reinvest" in america by building crosswalks for baby turtles and other ridiculous projects is going to help.
Capitalism. You people keep talking about economics. If you look in your wallet, and you have no money, what do you do to fix that? You certainly don't spend. This is the exact same scenario, on a much larger scale...Maybe we needed to go through a little bit of pain before the recovery would start...but the market corrects itself...now we're just headed towards a double dipped recession and unemployment numbers are still high as hell.
PS....you know what's so funny? Obama two years ago. All the time.

The USPS does have competitors in everything except First Class Mail.
Have you never heard of FedEx or UPS?
As a matter of fact, those competitors and the dawn of email are the reason why the USPS has been suffering.

Cool tidbit of information that isn't even relevant.
You do realize there is no other real options besides like "moderately conservative," "conservative," "moderate," etc (I read that a certain Jason Tate is designing a new AP--would it hurt to add some additional choices or even make it fill-in-the-black?). True. I know from the short time I posted in this forum regularly, it just got tiring arguing with 4 or 5 liberals for every post I made. Can't say for sure, but I'd assume that's why most conservatives stay away. Not necessarily anyones fault, just an observation.
