Pittsburgh's Clearview Kills (http://www.myspace.com/clearview724) have called it quits.
This is the end my friends...
I write this with a heavy heart, becasue honestly, I never thought this day would come (as cliche as that seems), and I'm short on words to describe my emotions because who really plans things like this? All I can really say is thank you. Its all so cliche, but so true at the same time. Thanks to anyone who took the time out of their lives to support us in anything we did. You will never be forgotten and without you this wouldn't have been much fun at all.
We started this band almost by mistake and I don't think anyone had intentions of playing more than a handful of local shows. However now looking back I can't believe the things we did, the things we saw, how stupid we were....everything. This is such a rush of emotions coming back to me. I remember Josh telling us how lucky he felt to see Times Square for the first time. I remember leaving for our first tour, the clothes we had on, how happy and ambitious we all seemed. I'll never forget getting on a that plane to fly me half way around the world to play music at some of the United Kingdoms biggest clubs. Hell, I'll never forget the first hooker we brought back to our hotel room, atleast thinking back on the good times will always make me smile...and I think thats the important thing. This was an expirence that only a few are blessed with the oppertunity to even enjoy.
We accomplished more than I ever imagined us doing. Everything from the unexpected radio play-to-the magazines we should have never been in-to- playing on the warped tour-to-getting on a fucking plane to play music half way across the world: It has truely been an amazing expirence, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that.
I'm not going to lie and act as if we didn't have an ugly breakup, because it was just that. However, details are not important. What is important is that for being such a little fish in an over populated pond, we came out alive, saw some cities, and rocked some faces.
We love you all,
Drew, Jonathan, Dan, Will, and Josh.
