i just got back like an hour ago. i have to go for a few hours. be back in a bit.

Why was your trip so great Greg?
i went to a youth life camp called rockbridge.
here some stuff that i did.
the zipline, the ropes course, the blob, the swing, the couches, meeting tons of new cool people, waking up almost everyday 5 minutes before we needed to leave, rodeo nite, obstacle course, v-ball tourney, biking at 7am, club everyday, P.W. Gopal, sprite remix slushies, 50's nite, cabin time, the hot tub, and probably the highlight of the week:us guys punking the girls. good stuff, good stuff.
actually the best part was when i started my relatinship with christ. i haven't been this happy in such a long time.
if you want me to go into further detail about something just ask.

Thats awesome to hear, Greg. I went to a camp dealie thing for a week in the mountains back in April and it was awesome too. Yeah, my relationship with Christ has got better and stuff. and i had a great time with my friends and all the new friends I made there. it was awesome. Congrats GREG!

i've gone to a camp like that before and they don't "shove" beliefs down your throat... it's nothing like that. all they do is tell you about it and they give you a choice.

I was thinking about stuff and reality and the universe, and then I realized that, if our universe is real, then there had to be a thinking mind to "realize" its there. Or its not there. See I know the universe exists because we humans are able to "realize" that yes, this is the universe and we are living in it. sorta like Descartes I think therefore I am. But then I thought how did hte universe exist before any life was on Earth? Well possibly it could have been aliens that lived before us, but what happens before any aliens are alive? There had to be SOME mind that could realize yes, the universe is there before any living thing was in the universe. Because it there is no mind to realize the universe existed then it is not there. A pile of rocks that doesnt affect anything is not there. Its basically a beefed up version of if a tree falls in a forest does it make a sound. (and yes it does because the sound waves still affect things around it.)

catholic school pisses me off, i go to it and everytime i am in theology i just want kill the teacher. its bullshit , i mean you can be boys with christ without them making u do all that bullshit like baptism ,confirmation,reconcilliation etc. they say everyone is equal but then shove how fucking spectacular god is down ur throat. i dont know, i just dont like it and i agree with evilzach.

yea, cnu bought this church coffeehouse thing that was where everyone hung out and they had all different kinds of local bands play..old school punk, hardcore, punk, acoustic, emo, etc, etc,. i miss it. so now we have to wait like a year for them to move to a new place. :-\ damn cnu, damn them. but yea, good look in college, college boy.

it wasn't a catholic camp. they don't care if you're catholic. and the whole being bad thing like being dressed bad. that doens't matter. as my leader and now good friend john perry explained to me the bible isn't what you need to be like. in other words things like the 10 commandments are important and you should strive to follow them. but no one, no one is pefect. and no one was cep jesus. so no one could ever say they've never broken them. the bible is good and all but you could just scribble out everything in there and right nay questions you have in the margins. and then get them answered. you'd be better off. it's not abotu the do's and don't's its about your personal relationship with christ. if you have a good relationship with christ when you die and you get judged before god he will see his son jesus. and all your sins will be forgiven. that doesn't mean you cna sin like crazy and expect everything to be all good. i dunno its hard to explain. i had it explained to me a half hour or so a day for a few days. so it was easier to understand. i guess if you have questions you could IM and i can try to answer them.

I understood absolutly none of that.
And although I'm an atheist, I subscribe to the buddhist belife that the univeres was just always there, but I also belive in evolution in the big bang. There are some theories surrounding the big babg that make that possible

What else is down near CNU music wise? I know of the Norva in Norfolk but that's about it. Are their any good indie music stores?
