Well you glimmer with those lovestruck eyes
That you’ve already left doesn’t really take me by surprise
I’ve erased her from my memory
So much so that her name doesn’t mean anything to me
And I’ve never felt so free

It released me like a bottle does a ship
And all I know for sure is simply this
It wasn’t her I was made for…

And you shimmer as you come so close
Its like this one pocket of air was made for us both
I can cut the thought off like a string
And move along in life as if it never meant a thing
Not a single thing

And it floats off like a feather in the wind
And I know for sure is in the end
It was never meant to be…

I can’t remind me anymore
Of what all this shining here is for
So I’m not even going to try
To figure out anymore reasons why

I watched it fly off like an airplane in the sky
Full of promise and of people flying high
But I wonder if this is what I was made for...

Like I said, I really enjoy this. I love the flow of it and it remains strong the whole through. Also, I like how it's about a girl and yet it doesn't stumble over any cliches. That's extremely hard to do. Nice work, Rob.

Two girls, actually, haha. It sort of follows along the path of the end of the album I'm working on now, so in light of that, it works really well. I need to get cracking on some music for this tonight!

I'm really excited to get this EP recorded, I've been writing stuff for so long but I never recorded anything. So this is something I've needed to do for a long time.

I recorded a lot of stuff in high school, but listening to it now, its awful. Haha. This'll be the best sounding album I've ever done, bar none.
