Please God, forgive me my sins;
for hurting those i've loved in the past.
for testing those foundations of which held me strongest,
for breaking the bonds of which i should have remained bound.
for turning, and running when the strength you instilled in me was not enough to bear the burden of my past transgressions.
I have looked into the eyes of love, and trembled at the site of approaching darkness.
I have looked into the eyes of madness; the only light that remains.
It is redemption we seek,
resting our heavy heads on pillows that remind us of back home,
block out thoughts of the things we've lost,
hoping that with your forgiveness...
maybe we wont always feel so alone.
