I'm sure people will warrant this act in the video...somehow.
But if their freedoms are taken away...how is Obama/NY allowing a mosque within 2 blocks of The WTC?
When these men have to be 5 blocks away.
Also...

Now I'm not arguing about the mosque...that's just supporting evidence in asking why these people couldn't have their freedom?
And go!

Well, it's common knowledge all police officers are hardcore secularists. Did they need to disrupt them so quickly? Of course not.

Should they have been taken into custody? No. But they were at an Arab (Muslim? I couldn't tell a whole lot from the vid) festival. What did they expect? If Muslims showed up at a Christian festival the police would probably show up to.
Does it matter if they were there longer than 3 minutes? Is there some sort of time limit where that would be relevant?

My point was that whether they were there for 3 minutes or 3 hours shouldn't matter, they have the right to be there. They made a big deal about it because it's shocking to get shut down THAT fast for something legal, though contreversial.

The Muslim Taxi driver had a right to not get stabbed. The Muslim's should have the right to freely build a 'mosque' wherever they want.
All I saw in the video were a bunch of whiny douchebags trying to be controversial, and getting moved by the police.
What if they were there for 3 hours and all the police said was to move 2 blocks away, would you feel the same about the video?

Not true. Any high school Civics teacher will tell you that "your rights end where mine begin." It's the same concept that gives government officials the right to make laws limiting where and how the Westboro Baptist Church can protest a dead soldier's funeral. Yeah, these dudes have the right to hand out their pamphlets, even though they are just being assholes about it, but everyone else who was their has the right to enjoy their afternoon with their kids without having a group of people trying to convince them to change their personal truths. The police did the right thing by asking them to leave and go somewhere where they could continue their demonstration without infringing on the rights of others there.
The ground zero mosque is something completely different. First of all, even though I'm sure that poll isn't nearly an accurate description of how the majority of Americans feel about this issue (what the fuck is AOL anyway? lolz), it doesn't matter what a majority of Americans think about this issue for two reasons:
#1 - A majority of Americans can't vote to take away the rights of another group. The people building the mosque aren't protesting anything and they're not infringing upon anyone's rights. There's no gray area here; they have a right to build their mosque wherever they want.
#2 - Who the fuck cares what the majority of America thinks about this issue? The mosque is being built in New York. The rest of the country has no say in the issue. Living in the South, I can tell you how much people down here would be pissed off if people from other regions started trying to tell us what we should and shouldn't do in our cities. New York's culture is very much representative of a wide range of ethnic groups, and while "the heartland" is catching up, we simply don't have the right to speak up on a cultural issue (which is actually more of a zoning issue, but whatevs) that we don't understand.
tl;dr - Cops did the right thing. Can't be compare to the ground zero mosque.

This event was a gathering of people of the same faith and another group shows up trying to convince them they're wrong about what they believe and you don't see how they're being assholes? And you have the nerve to say they were trying to inform Muslims about Christianity? Come on, bruh. It was an inherently antagonistic act. You're a Christian, right? How would you feel if during a Christian festival, a group of Muslims showed up and started handing out pamphlets basically proclaiming that everything you believe in is a lie? That you'll go to hell if you don't change your beliefs? And they're handing this stuff out around your kids, causing tension in a place where you went to just enjoy your day? The people at the festival had the right to gather religiously without another group causing tension.

Spam is illegal, and a few people have been arrested for it, for example Robert Soloway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Soloway) received a 47 month sentence for spamming.
I'm not seeing how protests and handing out pamphlets aren't comparable, they both rely on the same rights, and are essentially the same thing, a group or person congregating in public and disseminating their views. Also there is a bit of legal precedent for what the cops did, free speech zones. "The existence of free speech zones is based on U.S. court decisions stipulating that the government may regulate the time, place, and manner—but not content—of expression." I'm not saying thats right, but it's nothing new at all, and has been used in a much larger scale against people protesting the Vietnam War and George W. Bush.
The guys were certainly being assholes too, at the start of the video they acknowledge that some Muslims believe that non-Muslims can't proclaim their beliefs to them. So what do these guys do, they go there aren't start handing out pamphlets regarding their beliefs. That is inherently antagonistic and disrespectful, much like if PETA got in my face because I wanted some KFC. Also I'd like to point out this is not an Islamic festival, it is an Arab Festival. Arab ≠ Muslim.

It was related to his spamming activities though, spammers aren't doing it for shits and giggles, they are trying to get something out of it. I'm not 100% sure of this as I don't profuse to be an expert, but the money laundering, wire fraud, and mail fraud most likely involve how he had people send him money for services that don't actually exist or for things like the Nigerian Prince scams. The identify theft would probably come in with registering multiple e-mail accounts/domain names with false or stolen identities. The problem is though that enforcement of the law isn't the best, and there are some loopholes spammers can go through to legally not make it spam, but regardless spam is still illegal. If you want to read more about the law this site is pretty good.

What exactly is your point in all this? Are you trying to convince me that Christians are being persecuted because a bunch of assholes got kicked out of a Muslim festival for being antagonistic? Let me explain the way shit works: if you go to a public gathering and disturb the peace, you get your ass kicked out. Christians are not an exception to this rule. why is the mosque even a big issue? no one cared about it being built until Obama got in office. Now the idiots of America have come out against it because they think Obama is a Muslim and that he wants to destroy the country (because all Muslims are terrible people who murder Americans).
It is stupid. We have much more important things to worry about.
it's an election year!

Like any religion, generally we're ok. But there are those fucktards who ruin it for the rest of the world.
The world really needs a revamp on their morals and acceptance levels, because shit is getting out of hand. These things don't have to do with religion, but with and ambiguous tradition viewpoints that screwed up the world.

I wish people had the same disgusted reaction they towards all violent and bigoted religious acts as they do towards 'Muslim extremism' & Westboro Baptist bullshit.

i feel like people care and they don't care. They care to a point i guess. I don't really know how to explain it. It's like they want to end religious violence, but only go as far as to say like "Muslims=bad, or the Quran=bad". But they don't take the time to even read a single book about it. They would see that it's not religion, but traditions and other bullshit, taking something inherently good and turning it evil.
It's all very frustrating.

Yea.
Nathuram Vinayak Godse (Marathi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathi_language): नथूराम विनायक गोडसे) (19 May 1910 – 15 November 1949), a Hindu from the city of Pune, India was the assassin of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohandas_Karamchand_Gandhi) fondly and famously referred to as Mahatma Gandhi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahatma_Gandhi). Along with his brother Gopal Godse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gopal_Godse) and six other co-conspirators, he hatched, planned and executed a plot to murder the MK Gandhi.

Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying "the God that gave us Life gave us Liberty at the same time."
It may be true. No government gives freedom. None. Not one government ever did ANYTHING but take freedom away.
You wanna understand the lies about United States freedom, look what happened to the civil rights and freedom of religion and "domestic tranquility" of the Native Americans.
Every Republican argument will break down into shouting, finger pointing, accusations and attempts to change the subject, because Christians did to the Natives WORSE than Hitler did to the Jews. It's the truth, the hard truth and the chiptruth, that is what fvcking HAPPENED. And there has been a straight line, a -- if you were trying to trap a bear with a trail of breadcrumbs, you could catch something else with that trail of LIES about what Freedom means that go straight back to a HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE the Constitution was ratified. that is the mortal weak point of the current fascists posing as Christians and calling themselves Republicans.
It's all starting to come out.
Freedom exists and no one has ever needed one stinking government to secure it for them. It is inborn into human heads.
and this is what anarchists have been saying since long before there was Elvis Costello, Elvis Presley or any kind of rock music at all besides the sound that a cop makes when you fling a rock at him.

Guess it's safe to say that
outside of India or the basic Hindu ethnicity are many people
who are not Indians but who practice that religion and subscribe to its core tenets.
Adolf Hitler, in fact was an occult believer in the idea of Aryan supremacy.
The Vedic Brahman philosophy that originates in North India was not ALWAYS the dominant philosophy there.
Its atrocities so offended the sensitivities of the recognized Avatar Siddhartha that a philosophy of compassion and wisdom was born that renounces all of the basic Brahmanist statements.
People will go on saying "Hindu philosophy" and whatever. Even the English language is an invader in India. But the philosophy is more correctly called "Brahmanism" from a Western perspective.
Not a philosophy that I practice or endorse. But whatever...I'm just sitting here doing time.

I make a point not to believe voluntary internet polls. They usually have no value in the slightest.
