Seeing as it's already Sunday in some parts of the world, and my Sunday will be comprised of watching tap dancing penguins, I bring you what could quite possibly the largest batch of small band news we've ever had submitted to us. Give em all a chance.
Renegades (http://www.myspace.com/renegadesworldwide) have posted another new song on their myspace called "Big City Girls."
Echo Screen (http://www.myspace.com/echoscreen) has a debut full length album called Euphoria coming out on Rock Out Records this Tuesday, November 21st. You can check out the single off the album called "This Letter Bomb" as well as peep new tourdates with Crash Romeo and Near Miss on their myspace.

Lakeside (http://www.myspace.com/lakeside) will be entering the studio in December to record new material with producer Matt Goldman (Cartel, Acceptance, Copeland). Also the band is in the “Underground Contest” over at youtube.com. The contest ends on friday and the band would really appreciate your vote (http://youtube.com/contest/youtubeunderground?goto=1478)!

Adoration (http://www.myspace.com/whatisadoration) will be releasing a bunch of news on their myspace page this Tuesday regarding new line-up changes as well as other news pertaining to the band.

Love&Reverie (http://www.myspace.com/loveandreverie) and Ceerius Apparel (http://www.myspace.com/ceerius) bring you the first official song leak from Love&Reverie's upcoming full length, Lovers Are Liars, which was recorded and produced by Tyler Orr (Rookie of the Year, As Cities Burn, Within). The Cast Of (http://www.myspace.com/thecastof) have released two brand new songs on their myspace page.

Among thy Saints (http://www.myspace.com/amongthysaints570) recently posted 2 tracks off of their upcoming EP entitled The ReBirth. The band's second EP will be released on Nov. 25th at their CD Release show in Pottsville, Pa with Defend Your Own, The Storm, and Monarch. The album will then be made for sale to the public at the show.

Sky Eats Airplane (http://www.myspace.com/skyeatsairplane) is looking for a new singer. For more details or to inquire about the spot, contact the band via their myspace.

Airdate (http://www.myspace.com/airdate) have welcomed Chris Loret on guitar duties to the band.

ChimeraTWILIGHT (http://www.myspace.com/chimeratwilight) has redone their myspace page.

Blinded Black (http://www.mysace.com/blindedblack) has announced their release date for their debut album on Sidecho Records entitled Under the Sunrise on Febuary 27th 2007. Stay tuned for the pre-order and new song clips from the album.

Moving Mountains (http://www.myspace.com/movingmountainsmusic) have finally put up mastered versions of two songs that were previously on their myspace. According to their blog, they're planning on releasing their full length via iTunes.

Jason Soroka (http://www.myspace.com/jasonscurioushands)'s musical endeavor has progressed into a full band with ex-members of Tourmaline and Moraine. The band is now called Jason's Curious Hands and has put up a new song called "Keep" on their MySpace.

Midnight Fall (http://www.myspace.com/midnightfall) has posted a new song from their upcoming e.p. produced by Ladd Mitchell of Park (http://www.myspace.com/park) on their PureVolume page (http://www.purevolume.com/midnightfall). They Also have a clip from a video for the song on their Myspace. If thats not enough, lead singer Brandon Carnes has launched his own myspace (http://www.myspace.com/brandoncarnes) featuring new acoustic Midnight Fall demos and other original music.

Delaware pop punk bands, Date This Diary (http://www.myspace.com/datethisdiary) and Lurae (http://www.myspace.com/lurae) have posted new songs on their myspace pages.

The After Hour (http://www.myspace.com/theafterhour) have added three new songs to their myspace.

Awake and Dreaming (http://www.myspace.com/awakeanddreaming), from Toronto, Ontario, has signed with new label startup Another City Records distributed by Lumberjack/Mordam. They have begun in the studio with producer/engineer Chris Gordon who has also worked on albums from Sum 41, Our Lady Peace, and Nelly Furtado. Their album will be in stores across the US, and Canada this spring.

We Are Only Fiction (http://www.weareonlyfiction.com/store) has added “Color On the Edge of Memory” and “Damnit, Newton! Where’s My Normal Force?” to their Myspace page.

Other than being home to many founding fathers of our country, LOVE & REVERIE is sure to put Virginia back on the map.

Seriously, check out their stuff. They'll make you laugh, cry, smile and everything else in between. Knowing these guys personally, I can tell you that although great musicians, they're even better people. They deserve only the best and if they end up making a stop in your town (or even state), do yourself a favor and go listen to some amazing music and don't forget the free hugs.

Yeah the new lakeside demos sound pretty good, MUCH improved from their EP and their live show is so much fun, im really interested to see what goldman does with some of their stuff, should be interesting.

I do them every Sunday now for several reasons:
1. Each takes a few hours to do, so 1 day a week is a time saver.
2. Doing them daily means fewer bands in each, so its a bit pointless for me to do.
3. School and work take up a lot of my time during the week.
4. Sunday's our slowest news day which means that more people will read it since there isn't any other news to read.
