I'm going with You Won't Know... because I've had it on repeat most of today. Jesus Christ, Degausser and Luca are all tied for second.

this cd is different from the 2nd, and 100% different from the first... but what it has in common with the first 2... its soooo damn amazing and mindblowing.. the sound matures on every record.. and it just gets better and better

I went with Degausser but Not The Sun is awesome too.

WOW! I'm so surprised no one has chosen limousine yet. That was my very close number two, Jesus Christ is my homeboy.

Just FYI those aren't all the right titles. Though the liner notes do leave some confusion as to the title of "Jesus Christ."

Limousine has become one of my favorite Brand New songs. I fucking love it.

based on one listen, 'jesus christ'. the lyrics really grabbed me, and I love that repeating riff that just kind of cycles up and down, almost like a death cab for cutie song structure, or feel to it, I hope that makes sense. I hope the album grows on me more overall, based on one listen....its, well, I loved deja entendu after one listen...and your favorite weopon. hopefully this is just a slow grower, but it really seems unfocused and some of the songs seem to overstay their welcome.

This is a tough call. I was fighting between "Millstone," "Jesus Christ," and "Degausser." In the end, I chose "Millstone."

I like Archers. It's meaningful to me and it's catchy.

i listened to this cd and most of the songs arent any thing special. theyre mostly slow beat songs and i personally dont know what the huge hype was for. in fact alot of the songs the same. I wouldnt buy it. im glad i didnt.

millstone is the best track by far, jesus christ brings back the mid 90s rock that i grew up on, which makes it awesome.

Jesus Christ...then the rest were tied for second

11/23/06, 12:32 PM
I went with "Archers", but "Not The Sun" is a close 2nd and both "Millstone" and "Jesus Christ" are really good...so I'm gonna say any song that isn't "Welcome To Bangkok" or "Untitled" is the best song on the album...lol

Jesus Christ by far. Second is probably limousine

the first seven songs on this album are solid, but it was between millstone and degausser for me. i went with millstone because it just stood out to me in the way that "i will play my game beneath the spin light" did from deja entendu.

limousine is great too

I don't like this album (until now), it's so... slow. I mean a few slow songs, that's perfect, but TDAGARIM contains nothing but slow song :(

so, is it millstone or milestone...cuz its spelled millstone, but he sings it milestone....it truly fascinates me...

Handcuffs struck a chord with me. Behind that would be Jesus Christ, Limousine, and Archers.

so, is it millstone or milestone...cuz its spelled millstone, but he sings it milestone....it truly fascinates me...

I went with You won't know. but i honestly couldnt choose.

it was quite funny when yesterday, driving in the car with my mom, Jesus Christ came up on my cd i was listenign to and she freaked right out when she heard a bunch of Jesus christ in the lyrics. made me laugh. made my day.

luca scares the shit out of me whenever i listen to it. it's like that one "watch the car going around the bend, there's a ghost on top of it" video on the internet where the green demon pops out and shrieks at you. the song gets so quiet for a minute and then they start it up again unexpectedly.

I still haven't chosen an actual favorite song, but I picked Limousine because "in the choir I saw a sad messiah, he was bored and tired of my laments, said I died for you one time, but never again" was just so incredibly sad and powerful. It will be awhile before I can decide on a favorite.

WRONG

Not The Sun, followed by You Won't Know.

On the actual cd case it just says "Jesus" so is that the official name or are they not allowed to have 'christ' in there?

not the sun

11/29/06, 06:27 PM
Yeah, they are.

i think some of those are incomplete.

from the cd case, the song titles are:

Jesus
Limousine (MS Rebridge)
The Archers Bows Have Broken

but i don't know why i'm nitpicking, we obviously know which songs are which

thats probably the happiest sounding song on this album, that or the archers, the rest is pretty dark and depressing

wow really hard... i went with handcuffs. i just think that song is beautiful and i get a real beatles vibe in the bridge. it was tough picking between that, degausser, and jesus christ as well

12/01/06, 02:38 PM
I like Archers the best, but they're all great. What I don't get though is why Jesus Christ is so overwhelmingly people's favourite. It's one of my faves too, but I'd be confused if any of the 12 songs was so obviously the most popular. It seems like quite an even record to me, quality throughout.

12/02/06, 02:53 PM
jesus christ definitely, i love the lines "i know you think...try to nail you back up." amazing...second would def be millstone and then handcuffs
