Cloud City

I recently got FFXII. Does anyone else notice a lot of similarities between it and Star Wars. The city in the clouds for one thing. Then when they were all leaving I felt like Rabanastre was Mos Eisley, Vaan = Luke, Balthier = Han, The girl = Chewie, Basch - Obi Wan. Anyone else notice at all?

Square has done the whole 'city in the clouds' thing a few times. (Chrono Trigger comes to mind... I fucking love that game.)

But it's nothing new...

Anyway: I need to stop reading these threads, this game is getting spoiled for me. (Although I predicted a city in the clouds. Just like I knew I'd get thrown in prison. And sneak into a castle... yeah, every RPG has the same beginning. hah.)
