Anyone see the coorispondance between women in the workforce and divorce? Women working puts undo stress on relationships, makes raising kids more difficult, and is bad for families.

Yeah the divorce rate has been going up ever since we gave women suffrage. If we get rid of that we nip this problem in it bud...

actually, you can relate the fact that women work and that effects their stress level or how they raise their kids. saying that they shouldn't work is stupid though.

Well just because one thing happens after another, it doesnt necessarily mean that one caused the other. Although it could be true it isnt necessarily

I'm not really saying they shouldn't work (although it may have sounded like it). What I am saying is that there seems to be a tradeoff between having a stable relationship and having a job.

Perhaps the nan should take mor responciblity around the house then. Maybe he should be the on raising the kids, cooking meals, washing the floors, doing the laundry, etc.

you know that sounds like an excellent idea. its sad though that we automatically take the responsibility no matter what the situation is. and did u mean MAN or nan.. as in Nanny?

You mean the less time a couple spends together, the less stable their relationship is?

GASP

And then you'll tell us that infidelity causes marital problems.
