I think these are one of the only bands left on DTR worth listening to. DTR were the label i always looked to, the label i always trusted to point the way for good music. That seems to have changed, but maybe Self Against City can act as their saviour. Such a talented band, with the best christmas song i've ever heard. I hope it works out for them.

I happened to like Ready && Willing..i mean the idea behind the song is pretty good. Admittedly it was nowhere near as catchy as their other stuff, but it was still a good song

This CD is AMAZING. I have been listening to it almost every day. It has some playability to it. The first 4 songs are some of the catchiest tunes that I have heard in a long time.

when i heard about this band, i was skeptical. but after hearing "telling secrets to strangers," i've joined the self against city bandwagon. i can't wait to see them live this december with rookie of the year! (check your local listings)

Self Against City's EP was one of my favorites. & like I did with Brand New, I'm gonna resist listening to this until the cd's in my hands. It makes it SO much sweeter.
I'm sure it'll be super catchy though haha.
& "Alone on Christmas" is one of my favorite nontraditional Christmas songs.

that would be quite the tour.. my first concert ever was back in 03/04 when drive thru did a tour with home grown and halifax..have they done a legimate tour since?
