I have been checking all the premium channels on On Demand for Match Point to be up almost every single day because I'm too cheap to buy it but I've been dying to see it again, and today I checked and it's now up.

What a great, great film.

Ready and Willing is horrible

The other new song was alright, but I wasn't in the mood for pop-punk when I listened to it and I'm still not (I'm on a TDAGARIM kick), so I'll listen again later.

Possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

With Scarlet Johanson, right?

Top 5 worst movies I've ever seen - easily. Maybe top 3.

awesome movie (geez tate, you must have a spotless record for not seeing shitty movies). woody allen's older movies are even better though. check em out if you haven't seen them (Annie Hall, Manhattan, and Hannah and Her Sisters are a great place to start)

i wouldn't go as far as Tate but it was pretty bad...i rented this with Closer and both were in the same vain, stupid love stories that didn't make one bit of sense and were just nuts

Match Point is a lot more than just a "stupid love story"...

What are your favorite movies? Just wondering.

almost famous, what dreams may come, v for vendetta, godfather part one and two, one flew over the cuckoo's nest

it wasn't as bad as i made it out to sound, closer was worse, match point just seemed so illogical

Cool. Almost Famous is one of my favorites as well.

I can see how a lot of people wouldn't like Match Point, but I thought it was very good (except Scarlet's acting, which was very over-dramatic at points but then again that could have been intentional as to show her obssessive personality).

i just remembered really liking the whole thing about how the ball hitting the net could go back or go over for the win, just like how the ring hit the end and came back

that was a really cool part

looking back it was better than i've been saying it is
