I think he means to give it as though it were from himself, not from the Mexican dude.

i think the idea for the video was clever. but it the song sucks. anyway, the video is making fun of caveron crowe's 'say anything', the part where john cusack stands outside that girls window palying "in your eyes' by peter gabriel on his boom box.

Of course not, but there's a word for a post that someone drops for the sole purpose of crossing the opinions of others in the thread, when the thread has nothing to do with peoples' opinions of the song itself. The word is threadfart.

The video was every clear, but I just have one more question. when it shows the guy's ex-girlfriend fixing her pants, dose that really have anything to do with the meaning of the vid or did the director just want that in there?
