Human Flight Committee has posted a new song tonight, don't know how long it'll be up. It's deff in a different direction than their "normal" stuff but it's great. They're in the middle of recording a full length and this is a rough mix. they want your feedback.

I first listened to them when i saw something in a magazine saying they were similar to Bear vs. Shark, Dismemberment Plan and Fugazi, and i loved what i heard. 'Russian' sounds pretty different. The vocal effect is annoying as all hell. Seriously. But the music reminds me a bit of Q And Not U, or mellow Dismemberment Plan, and that's always a good thing. If it had no vocal effect, i'd love it. As it is now, i just can't get past that god-awful vocal effect. It hides Aaron's powerful voice.

She's A Car Destroyer sounds amazing on the other hand. Intense and powerful sounding. Grabs you right from the time it kicks in, and never lets go. It makes me excited as hell to hear the new album. Absolutely amazing stuff.

They live like right by me, they're a pretty big local band, and holy hell are they amazing. Saw them live in an american legion and they kicked sooo much booty. Tons of energy.
The new song doesn't really sound much like them, not as much of that vocal attach they used to have, and just the song style is really out of the box for them. I dig though.

I concur...get rid of the atrocious vocal effect.
