well here it is, my first song ever in a forum. I've never done this before, so please just tell me what you think.
Drift Away
Staring now at this blood soaked carpet,
What have I done?
My life crumbling before me,
What could I do but run?
Out of body, out of mind, out sight.
Dulling nothingness, this blinding light.
My eyes had grown numb and my heart stone cold.
Your head against my arm, my hand in yours.
Whispering of nothing, but never getting bored.
Knowing that its over, that just around this bend,
I wake up to reality, my dreams come to an end.
You've been gone forever, you were never here.
Standing here, gun in hand, wondering if this is real.
Pull the trigger end it all (In your mind)
In your mind you'll see me fall.
Face down, out cold.
The alarm clicks off (6:03)
I awake, heavy head (How can this be?)
In my mind, all I see (You and me)
Lay my head against my pillow (Softly)
