just for the record, the original story was aired two years ago when the kid was 12, but on 60 minutes last night they had a follow-up with him.


he made some sort of indications that composing might not necessarily be what he wants to do with his life, and if that ends up being the case, then its a terrible terrible waste.

That's incredible. And a child prodigy does not necessarily have Savantism;they are not synonymous. I love Oliver Sacks :).
