I think ben has always done great as a front man ever since his days in the pop punk the drive(fake i.d) and he did dam well as the lead singer for treos. i've noticed that when both of those bands had potential to go somewhere like the drive could've gone somwhere when pop punk was at its peak and even though treos has done fine without him it seems as if ben is afraid of success which leads me to my question.
Does ben the lead singer plan on quitting on this band like he did for treos and the drive(fake i.d.) if christians and lions has the oppurtunity to actually go somewhere?

ask ben: which fitchburg/leominster venue he has liked playing at the best throughout the years: Civic Center, Church basement in leominster, or Spanish American Center?

In my opinion, the Civic Center with TREOS was the best, but lido venice at spanish american wasn't bad either.

They had it up on the lido venice website for awhile. Yeah, it's one my favorite songs from ben.

how about dont ask a treos question. its so long ago, who cares.

ask him if they have any touring plans or are they conflicted with school or whatever else

and what is meant by the anti-christian lyrics in "skinny fists"? is it a complete rejection of faith, or rejection of the rhetoric?

I don't have any questions, I'm just really glad this band is getting coverage/exposure on AP. They're amazing, and they deserve it. I've submitted some news on them a few times and it's never been posted though...there was a really great article in the Boston Phoenix about them recently, if you're into them, look it up, it's a good read.

the answer is no.

he played a show with them in september, and they are friends again so I would say possibly. But don't ask that question.

Don't ask be why he left treos or anything about treos. Ben is not the band.

Ask them what they are planning for the next album because i know they are starting it.
Ask them about touring
ask them what the album art means

i kind of would like to know why ben left treos. i want to know why he's quit so many good bands? what is the reasoning behind it?

why cant we ask that question?

he left treos because he wanted to stay in school.

According to wikipedia it was because he thought music should be made strictly recreationally - not as a way of life or for any kind of profit. Then again, it's wikipedia...

“I thought that art was more pure if it wasn’t associated with commercialism at all. There was no commodification of your music if you didn’t get in bed with big business. At the same time, it would be unfair to paint myself as this indie hero that was like ‘Fuck you’ to Atlantic and to major labels and everything because I also just wanted to stay in school....I’ve wondered what would’ve happened if I chose to do that, especially when I’m not feeling school or I’m like ‘Dammit, I don’t want to go to work today and serve coffee’ or whatever. But in the end I’m extremely happy that I made the decision to stay in school and finish that up because I feel like it gave me time to find out what I wanted to do musically and also get better at writing.”-Ben Potrykus
