I am enjoying 'The Lurid Traversal of Route 7' a lot more than I thought I would. The songs I had heard before did not seem very good, but so far I give it one thumb up. Any fans/detractors?

Haha, they're definitely not the best thing out there, but they're not terrible.
I don't think I will listen to this again...

definitely. I have jammed out to Indian Summer today and quite liked it, and I think I'm going to give Heroin (the band, obv not the drug) another go in a few.

You probably already know, but CaP'n Jazz for midwest is my suggestion.
And as for revolution summer, Moss Icon and Gray Matter are a must. I haven't found much for revolution summer, so I could use some help with that myself.

try to find: RAIN: LA VACHE QUI RIT
it came out on guy picciotto's label in 1990, but they were a dc-punk band from the mid to late 80's. its a lot like rites of spring, embrace, one last wish, etc...just really good solid dc emo or whatever.
