Quick History

Punk rock is an anti-establishment rock music (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punk_rock) movement with origins in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia around 1974-1975, exemplified by bands such as the Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Damned, and The Clash.

While moderators will be relaxed on some broader definitions of "punk" there are a few bands that do not belong in this forum - and any attempt to create a thread about them will be grounds for the thread to be deleted or moved immediately.

Use the Search Function

Odds are if you're talking about a popular artist, they already have a thread created about them. We have the search function for a reason - use it and continue the discussion already started.

Try and be respectful of other's opinions. Not everyone enjoys the same music.
