Last night, i saw Cute is What we Aim for in San Luis Obispo, CA at the Downtown Brew which is a pretty small venue. It wasn't very crowded since the show was only listed about 2 weeks ago, and tickets have only been on sale for a week... so i guess Shaant didn't like that very well. They played about 6 songs, and then he said they couldn't play any more because the bassist was new and didn't know many songs. So he played the last song and literally bolted out of the building, leaving the rest of the band on stage. The drummer and guitarist tried to play San Dimas High School Football Rules, and messed around for a bit and then gave up. Pretty disappointing..since you normally expect a headliner to play more than about 6 songs, but i guess they sounded pretty good anyways.
oh and Dave Meliloh and William Tell are pretty much amazing. They should have headlined..they seemed to care to be there much more, and both hung out for a while after.
