Cute barely played 25 minutes at their headline show last night in Fullerton... the lead singer didn't even finish off the last two songs, instead he had William Tell come out to do a Mest cover and then a Damnit (blink, of course) cover. No real energy throughout the show. Kinda a letdown... I'll upload those vids if anyone wants them. But the lighting at that venue was horrible, and security was eyeing me...

It was actually Dave Melilo, not William Tell.
And I'm pretty sure they played AT LEAST a half hour.
They pretty much played all they have practiced.
The Mest and Blink covers were a "surprise" I guess you could say.
Not because Shaant "didn't finish off the last 2 songs."


And P.S. I'm pretty sure Cute isn't headlining this tour. This is Plain White Tee's headlining tour (allegedly).

and you think that kind of comment helps the matter? but yeah, i swear to god every show i go to without fail the fat girl or sometimes large fat boyfriend/father-figure ends up in front of my friend and i. but idk over the summer on the paramore tour date at the bowery ballroom there weren't many large girls, but they may have all been behind me, all ninetysix pounds of me were being squashed to death against the stage after all.

as far as shaant "talking about this providence like they are great".. shaant is KNOWN to just talk bands up, but really hate them. i remember when he used to talk down Bryce Avary and the Rocket Summer so much, and then as soon as they got a show with Bryce all of a sudden Shaant knew every word and even claimed Bryce to be his hero on stage. Shaant is the most ridiculously fake person I have ever met. Besides, I dont think he can talk down a band on the same label as he is. He'd probably get in a little trouble.

i heard this tour is feb/mar so TP might very well being touring with them-- I think they're going to tour for the next year or so straight.
