It appears that Damiera (http://myspace.com/damiera) will be playing a handful of Northeast dates with The Junior Varsity (http://myspace.com/thejuniorvarsity) in the coming weeks. New Jersey favorites Socratic (http://myspace.com/socratic) and up-and-coming San Diego rockers Weatherbox (http://myspace.com/weatherbox) are also scheduled to perform on all dates. The announced shows so far are as follows:
12/14 - The Empress Ballroom, Danbury, CT
12/15 - The Penny Arcade - Rochester, NY
12/18 - The Grog Shop - Cleveland Heights, OH
12/19 - The Lime Spider- Akron, OH
12/20 - The Shelter - Detroit, MI

I'm going to see these guys on Tuesday with The Sleeping, and hopefully at the Penny Arcade, it's only $8.

They are on tour with The Fall Of Troy, Portugal. The Man and Tera Melos in January/February also.
It's a full US tour, and tickets are only like $10.

And yes, I'm really excited for M(US)IC.

I'm pretty sure that tour is coming down here. I'm more excited to see Portugal again then anything.

I'm not really stoked for M(us)ic only cause I already have it but I am stoked to see them live and getting to see P.TM for a 4th time is a great addition as well. I hope more people catch onto them in 2007.

If it weren't for Tonight the Riot, i would be all for this show. I don't think i could sit through their set again.

damiera is the best band that plays music through amplifiers; Non-comparable to Jay-Z. also, not as complicated, but equally stellar are Mellowdrone (http://www.mellowdrone.com)... playing killer music is something they also do.
