I'm sure it will...
just as long as the pittsburgh show doesn't sell out (because i haven't gotten my tickets yet...) then maybe they'll start playing them on the radio...the only time i ever get to listen to them around here is the stuff on my computer...

I am not ashamed to say that Cartel is one of my favorite bands...That being said, they need to release a new single. Very soon. That Vanessa chick is hot.

Warped Tour was hilarious. We were handing out flyers for their autograph signing and when we'd give one to the girls, they would completely lose it. Some of the guys would too, actually....

Chroma needs to go gold.. NAY. Chroma needs to go platinum.

I would die of laughter if I saw that. A couple of my friends threatened to make shirts like that.... I was like... yeah go to the show by yourself then.

i remember seeing cartel open for the rocket summer and brandtson in a tiny little room behind some pizza parlor in cleveland about 2 years ago. i had never heard of them but i remember my friend turning to me and saying 'wow. these guys sound in credible live. i can't believe they haven't blow up yet...and that bass player is sort of creeping me out.'

i'm glad they're getting big, they've earned it. chroma is a great pop album.

Like someone else said, I believe it will be "Say Anything (Else)". It seems that song's being pushed, with it being on Madden 2007 and all, so it makes sense.

Good lord it took MTV long enough to notice these guys my goodness.

Good for them! FINALLY! haha I was surprised when I saw they are playing a 1200 person venue here in Portland, but now maybe the crowd will be a little bigger!

Haha, my 8 year old brother is always talking about them being on Cartoon Network, now I know he wasn't kidding.

I'm actually not surprised they are playing the Roseland. The other venues in Portland would definitely sell out. Is Roseland seriously 1200 cap? I thought it was 800, Will said it's 1000.

This is huge for them, after this there is no looking back. I do agree though that they need to do a new single. Though I was under the impression that the Say Anything Else video was for a project for one of their friends. It would be cool if that ended up being the actual video, it's funny as hell. Best of luck to those boys. If only they would release Burn This City as a single, that has guaranteed success written all over it if it's accompanied by a kick ass video.

Kudos to them and the record label for FINALLY getting this one through the thick heads of the mainstream music world. How many hammers have been broke and anvils been dropped trying to get these guys their due? How long has everyone around here been predicting the success of Cartel and Say Anything? I can't wait to smack people when they start coming up to me and asking if I have heard of this great new band called Cartel.

Whenever someone asks me if I've heard of them I start laughing at them. I've been doing a lot of promo for them lately because of my internship at Sony and it's really cool to see people's reaction to their music. These kids at the Panic! At The Disco show were like "OMG CARTEL!" and grabbing Live Dude's EP's from me. I was kind of scared.

i have tried on several occasions to enjoy Cartel.

by chance, i've seen them live twice (once with TSL, once with NFG), and BOTH times they had "technical difficulties" resulting in them, unprofessionally, not really saying anything or trying to keep the crowd entertained. at the NFG show, after like twenty plus minutes of nothing going on after the first couple of cartel songs, will was finally like "i'll play a song now. sorry i have nothing to say" then he played that acoustic song "minstrel's prayer"...then more technical difficulties ensued.

they just don't seem like truly genuine guys, or a truly genuine band.

i just get a really weird feeling every time i hear a song from them or see them play.

i can't quite put my finger on what's "wrong" with this band, but something is.

Wow, your experience did suck. I've always had such a good time seeing them live. I do feel like they are genuine guys though, I've interviewed them twice and we always talk about random shit like Harry Potter and golf... haha.
