demo's, promo's, ep's, full lengths....whatever..and they almost always seem to be from punk or pop-punk bands. its kinda cool, but annoying at times. i mean, they're piling up.

Do you even know why they picked the name?

Ben Gibbard from DCFC and Jimmy Tomberello from DNTEL would send vocal and keyboard tracks through the mail to each other. Jimmy would do the keyboard tracks, send it to Ben and he would add in Vocals. So basically they made the record through the Postal Service.

The Postal Service is great. Sure, the lyrics are a little cheesy, at times, almost 80s-synth band-ish. But deep down, you dance to that music all of the time. You know it, you may not admit it, but you do. The Postal Service is perfect for that sort of thing.
