The only one that really hit me in a strong way was Elliott Smith's "Either/Or". I was going through some rough times a few years ago and I listened to this album almost every single day for a few months (but that doesn't mean thats all I listened to). For some reason it just made me feel a little bit better or at the very least calmed me down. I love that album.

in the garage - weezer.
i grew up in a small town filled with closed minded people. the chorus goes "in the garage, i feel safe, no one laughs about my way." it let me know that somewhere i would find my 'garage.' and i did.

A lot of Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate made me think about things. . . .
All of Brand New CD's made me think about some stuff too. . .
Different by Accepted made me think about a lot.
Minor Threat - Complete Discography .
Didn't so much change my life as accelerate my course greatly. No other music has really changed my life, although a few have made me feel good or w/e.

That album, is hands down, one of my favorites, and that is why I love you
But to answer the question, I'd have to say either mewithoutyou - a-b life. I was never really into them, but then I took the time to read the lyircs, it changed how I look on life.

Thursday - War All the Time (I got in the game late)
But yeah, Thursday was a catalyst to so much great music and actually, my registration on this site. I was listening to bands like Trapt at the time, so yeah Thursday saved my life. And It's not just that, but I feel a connection to that band greater than any other band I've found. Everything they do, I like. And Geoff is such a unique soul.
