They dont even write there own songs? I thought only crap bands like backstreet and them did that.

personally i think there music sucks, there from sd, but they def dont give respect to there hometown from what i heard

I bought their CD back when tate made them the featured band because at newbury comics it was $5 and I rarley turn down a cheap CD. I bought it and gave it a listen and I almost cried. The thing that killed me even more is that the cover at the end that they do was given no credit to the original writers and they claimed they wrote it. AS for a few other songs I later found out that they didn't write EVERY song on that album. And finally for the biggest killer, their bassist is going out with Avril Lavigne....I think that says it all in terms of my oppinion of Off By One.

sad_but_true... you are so misinformed it hurts. Their cover song "Torn", as stated in their cd booklet, was written by "Scott Cutler, Ann Preven and Phillip Thornalley." Now, don't get me wrong... but those don't sound members of Off By One... so yes, they did give credit to the original writers. Also, given the fact that I know the bands situation better than anyone here... they did IN FACT write every single song, but the cover song on the album, period. Lastly... Jordan, their bassist, is not dating or never dated Avril Lavigne. Marc, the singer/guitarist was dating her nearly 2 years ago when they were recording their albums ... which of course was a different circumstance, because she hadn't sold 5 million albums and no one knew who the fuck she was.
