do you think that you could ever understand what its like to be

cuz' you dont understand these differences between me and you...
my soul is stuck with shackles on its feet
like a bruised broken body laying bleeding in the street
but i need to escape, i need to leave
get away from these things that are blocking me
from becoming what i need to become
but its like i got shot, and your holding the gun...
so tell me what you see before you now
its the man that ive become some how
and so far in life ive been alone
like a carriage traveling slowly a lonely dusty road...
